We had a fantastic time in Sarigerme, we stayed at the Holiday Village, but its well worth a trip in to Sarigerme Village. Everyone is very friendly, one cafe owner even gave us frozen baby wipes to cool us down! Make sure you do the excursions, pay locally its much better value than the tour operators. We did the mudbaths, turtle beach and 12 islands boat trp. Fantastic time going again this year.

Sarigerme First Choice Holiday Village

We had never been on an “all inclusive” holiday before and were not sure what to expect. In the end, we had a great holiday, it was well organised and the food was excellent. However, the beer (which was also part of the “all inclusive” deal) seemed very weak and tasted as though it had been watered down or was perhaps specially brewed. Although of the same brand (Efes), it certainly was not the same as beer which we bought in bars. The wine also seemed to have a low alcoholic content.


Excursions

The “Jeep Safari” was a good trip. The restaurant on the river where we stopped was excellent and we had great fun being driven along the river bed. However, we weren’t expecting that the main activity involved soaking each other with water. Although we like to think that we can take joke, we weren’t warned which means we hadn’t protected our camera and other equipment. As a result, my wallet and bag were damaged. We were however given a plastic bag towards the end when it was too late. The soaking also went on for a long time and the joke wore a bit thin.

Just got back from a great holiday in Sarigerme. Great weather 32-36 degrees Sept/Oct. This is one of the most picturesque places you can go and everyone in the resort is really friendly. Some great bars/resturants in the town well worth the visit, and the Beach is fantastic. If you have any reservations about going to Sarigerme then DONT cause it is really nice and I was worried about going there myself.
