Mud Baths&Turtle Beach

Dalyan is situated in the centre of a broad and naturally beautiful delta. The Dalyan river is a canal which connects Köyceğiz Lake with the Mediterranean. The bends of the river and labyrinth of the reeds combine with a mixture of fresh and sea water. In this region some types of turtles have lived for millions of years. The caretta-caretta turtles and the Trionyx triunguis are just some of them.

The Mud Baths are situated at the junction of the Dalyan and lake Köyceğiz. The mud and thermal water are very useful for the skin and for health. After having this beauty mud, you will probably look 10 years younger.

The Rock Tombs of Caunos, which are opposite the town of Dalyan on the steep mountain-slope, they have not lost their splendour for thousands of years. Turtle beach is a 5 km long sand beach called IzTuzu and ranks among the most beautiful beaches of the world.
